One thing I'm currently enjoying: watching Pinterest makeup tutorials. My daughters like to watch with me, so it counts as a snuggle session, too. My amazon wishlist keeps growing with products I'd *love* to try, but don't get out of the house often enough to justify purchasing. However, my hubby (who never ceases to surprise me) put together a little Easter bag for me this year that was full of products from my list that I was finally able to test out. Today, I'm sharing the ones that I am loving, plus a few accessories that I keep trying to find an excuse to wear/planning my outfits around.
In an attempt to keep my face moisturized, as well as prevent wrinkles and sun damage, I have been using this product from Neutrogena since last year and it delivers! It also sits well under my favorite foundation from Almay. I hate greasy, cakey makeup, but Almay always feels like a second skin. And it blends flawlessly to look so natural — it gets a 10/10! I've been seeing the Lash Paradise mascara pop up here and there with rave reviews and I, too, concur with the hype. It makes my lashes look amazing, which is doubly amazing since I am not getting the hang of applying false ones yet. And finally, I've always wanted to try out MAC's Velvet Teddy, but would never spend $$ for makeup. When I heard there was a Wet n Wild dupe, I went out to snatch one up the next day! I am already a huge fan of the Wet n Wild brand, and this lip color is my new go-to! It also pairs well with my Revlon gloss for extra shine. You can shop my current beauty fave at the links below!
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer | Revlon Super Lustrous The Gloss in Rosy Future | Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lip Color in Bare It All | L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise in Black Brown | Almay Skin Perfecting Comfort Matte Foundation in 110 Neutral Buff
My other current faves of the month are definitely these earrings. If I'm going to make a statement (other than my beautiful engagement ring and wedding bands) I always go with ear bling. The Ophelia Roe brand at Meijer (of all places) always has the prettiest styles for the season. I quite often find my favorites there. Old Navy also had a pair that caught my eye; the colorful flowers were calling my name! I am in a season where I am learning to love blooming right where I'm planted, and these reminded me of that goal. I couldn't find links to purchase these exact pairs since they’re either out of stock or only available in store, but I did find similar ones you can shop for below (and that I'll definitely be shopping for soon)!
